You must be 21 years of age or older to join our wine club or to purchase wine with us.
Lingua Franca wine club benefits begin with your first shipment, or an equivalent purchase at the time of sign-up. Wine club releases occur in the spring (March) and fall (September) of each year. Wines to be included in club shipments are subject to change due to availability.
The wine club account holder’s primary credit card will be charged at least one week prior to the scheduled ship date. Please note: It is the member’s obligation to notify Lingua Franca of any account changes (card number or expiration date, billing/shipping address, phone, email or other payment information) prior to the close of the club offering window.
Special members-only pricing applies to all wine club shipments and will also be offered during other limited periods throughout the year. Members are responsible for any state taxes that may apply to wine purchases and/or shipments.
Collection and Connoisseur Memberships require a minimum commitment of two (2) club shipments. Early cancellation may incur a cancellation fee up to $150. Membership thereafter is on-going but may be cancelled after two shipments are delivered. Cancellation requests must be received two weeks prior to the season’s Club processing date and can be submitted via email to email@example.com or by calling our office at (503) 773-9450.
As a courtesy to members, we allow one skipped shipment during the lifetime of the membership. Requests to skip a shipment must be received two weeks prior to the relevant processing date.
Our standard shipping method is UPS Ground. We can ship via FedEx upon request. Under applicable law, wine deliveries require the signature of someone 21 years of age or older. The carrier will return any shipments that have not been signed for after multiple delivery attempts. Members are responsible for shipping charges incurred due to misdirected and/or returned shipments. Please see our shipping policies for more details. Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate split shipments for shared memberships.
Collection members are offered five complimentary member’s tasting experiences for up to two guests per year. Connoisseur members are offered unlimited complimentary tastings for up to four guests per visit (subject to limitations that may be imposed by public health protocols). For certain winery events, members will be offered preferred rates, and access may be limited by capacity. To ensure that our members always receive first access to newly released wines and receive the best pricing possible, we are unable to extend member benefits or member pricing to non-members.
We kindly request that “pick-up” members retrieve their wine selections (or make alternative arrangements) within six weeks of the seasonal wine club offering. Lingua Franca will reach out to schedule a date and time for pick-up. If after six weeks, members have not made such arrangements, we will process the order to be shipped to the delivery address on file, with appropriate shipping discounts applied. You will be notified one week prior to the ship date via email.
