Tasting Room Manager
After majoring in Music and Business, Aaron wasn’t sure what his career landscape would look like. However, he knew he worked best with a beverage in hand. A brief stint in third-wave coffee landed him a barista position at an unlikely place: Canlis Restaurant in Seattle, a 60-year-old institution with countless accolades, including 22 Wine Spectator Grand Awards and the James Beard award for Outstanding Wine Program. After graduating at the top of his Certified Sommelier class in 2014, he went to work harvest at Gramercy Cellars in Walla Walla under Master Sommelier Greg Harrington, returning to Canlis to serve as Dining Room Manager. Unable to get the wine country life off his mind, he left Seattle and joined the Lingua Franca team in 2018.
